We had a wonderful Christmas this year. I think that the tenderness of having just lost such a dear friend made us all appreciate Christmas so much more. It truly was about Christ, family and friends this year. And so very simple this year. Here are a few of our favorites;

1. This spontaneous concert Morgan and Scott put on for us Sunday while we were ready but waiting to leave for church. They played Christmas tunes, including thier Mom’s favorite ‘Good King Wenceslas’.
2. Grandpa and Grandma Gatti’s Christmas Party where we got to visit with cousins we haven’t seen in a long time!
3. Swimming with the Nevill’s and the Gray’s Christmas Eve. (In a heated pool.)
4. Staying home all day together for the first Christmas EVER!

Great men do not command legions, they do not drive fancy cars or make millions.
Great men lead scout troops. They are devoted to thier wives and live for thier families. They are walking down the halls of our church buildings, driving down our streets. They make you dinner when you are sick and drive an hour across town in rush hour traffic to give a blessing to a stranger. With thier dying breathe they testify of Christ so others will never forget. Great men comfort and teach children, not just thier own. Great men love so big that in a lifetime you cannot possibly hold it all.
To our friend Kevin who loved so many so well. Till we meet again….

I have hesitated to enter this subject onto my blog because I wanted to be sensitive to my friends Kevin and Joni and thier family. Tonight our hearts are hurting so much that I just need to get it out and ask for your prayers right now.
Kevin has cancer and we are praying that he can come back home from the hospital for Christmas. Please add this family to your prayers.
It just isn’t right how fragile our bodies are. How quickly life can be taken from us. How we take for grantid those strong people who are a positive, driving force in our lives. We just think that they will always be there for us driving us on, fighting the battle with us, and we are comforted by thier presence in our lives, and helplessly devistated when something threatens that comfort.

My name is Kelcie, as you probably already know. Anyway, I was thinking you know how I just lost that huge tooth? Well, it’s really big and I’ll tell you it hurt really bad to get it out! I was wondering if, you know maybe, I could get $2.00 for it. It will make a really good addition to your tooth castle.
Sincerely,
Kelcie
P.S. YOu know it is the Christmas season.
P.S.S. Think of all the other teeth I could give you.
Enclosed with this letter was a “Teeth Chart” which read;
easy to get out .50-.75
medium with no gums still stuck on it 1.00-1.25
Hard/still has gum connected to it 1.50-2.00
Here is an acurate toothe chart for you. I believe my tooth falls in the Large category but you judge it. (drawings of actual tooth sizes were included).

I LOVE this picture! Addi is on the left and Charis is on the right.
It was my sweethearts Birthday tonight and as you can see he was eager to eat his ‘peanut butter playground’ cake from coldstone creamery. This was by his special request.
It goes without saying, partly because I say it so much, that he is the most wonderful man in the world. The perfect husband and father, we are so thankful for you darling!
